AI Tutor
A tutor that answers by asking — and that deliberately will not run ahead of what you have been taught.
What it is
A conversational tutor grounded in your course’s knowledge graph. It knows the gates, the lessons, the materials and where you have reached — so its answers use your course’s vocabulary rather than generic explanations.
Why it asks you questions
The tutor answers Socratically. Ask “what is the answer to question 3” and it will ask what you have tried. That is deliberate: being told an answer produces recognition, and assessments measure recall and transfer.
You will get far more out of it by describing your reasoning and asking where it breaks than by asking for the answer.
What it will not do
- Run ahead of your gates. It will not explain material from gates you have not reached — that would undercut the sequencing the course depends on.
- Sit an assessment for you. It is not available inside an attempt.
- Invent content. It works from your course material. Asked something outside it, it says so rather than guessing.
Using it well
- Bring a specific confusion, not a topic. “I do not see why the sign flips here” beats “explain integration”.
- Attach the work you are stuck on where the conversation supports it.
- Conversations are kept, so you can return to one rather than re-explaining.
